This is a new route based on permanent #5335. The route begins in Pasadena and heads through Glendale toward Griffith Park, where we do a couple great climbs on roads closed to vehicles. After leaving Griffith Park, the ride returns to Pasadena via La Tuna Canyon Rd and the usual route through La Crescenta and Montrose. The finish will be at Handel's for Ice Cream!

This is a populaire based on permanent #5318. It is a climby route along the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains that includes the Santa Anita Canyon (Chantry) and San Dimas Canyon climbs.
This is an self-supported ride. Riders will need to obtain their own water and food out on the course. There is no SAG vehicle.
This is a new 200k route, based on permanent #5445(The Spot). It begins in Oxnard and works its way up to Isla Vista, near UCSB. The route includes many of our favorite roads and paths. There is 4400 feet of climbing, so you will get a good workout. The return is mostly along the coast, which will be a blessing on a hot day.

This is an ACP 600k with at least 8,000 meters of climbing. It is intended to fulfill one of the requirements of the ACP R-10,000 Award, but can also be ridden by anyone looking for a challenging, mountainous 600k.

Rando train party! Join us for a fun point-to-point cruise from the Anaheim Transportation Center (ARTIC) to Oceanside. After grabbing lunch and refreshments at Green Cheek beer Co., we can all get on the 1:28 Metrolink train back to ARTIC.

A beautiful ride that begins in the desert town of Twentynine Palms, heads west to the City of Joshua Tree and northern entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Continues through the park with amazing views, and at the turnoff to Keys View overlook where the views of adjacent peaks (San Jacinto, etc) are breathtaking. Ride continues through the park to the South entrance (Cottonwood Visitor Center) before exiting on a long descent to Interstate 10. After 5 miles on I-!0 will exit at Chiriaco Summit. Continues on I-10 to the abandoned community of Desert Center, CA. The route heads north on Rice Road (Rte 177) until summits to 29 Palms Highway. At that point its 50 miles west on a mostly well maintained roads all the way to the finish back in 29 Palms. This route was previously used for the Joshua Tree Double Century (thanks Anny Beck) but that event is no longer being held. The climbing is mostly shallow of the alluvial fan sort. The weather can greatly vary from warm, to snow, to wind, so best to keep updated on weather beforehand.
This ride will be supported because there are minimal services out on the course. Riders should expect 3 or 4 staffed controls and a sweep vehicle. Food will also be provided at the finish.
There is a $15 fee to enter Joshua Tree NP on a bicycle. Riders with an America the Beautiful Senior Pass can get in free, and they can bring in 3 accompanying cyclists.

This is a 127k Populaire for those of you who like to climb in the mountains. The route is an out-and-back from Pasadena to Baldy Village using two terrific cycling roads- Glendora Mountain Rd and Glendora Ridge Rd.

A tandem friendly ride along the coast from Mandalay Beach to Santa Barbara Harbor and back with a side trip up and down the Ojai bike trail.
There is a fee for parking at the start/finish location- $5.00 per day maximum, and you can only pay by card. The lot is open from dawn to dusk.
